Severance Tax in Arkansas is far too low

We need it raised before the cost of environmental damage starts hitting landowners and government agencies.

Sounds good, but it appears that plans offered so far do not direct the money to ways too protect the land or to restore land damaged by extraction of oil and gas or minerals.
